I mean...I’m no fried chicken expert, but this place is delicious! I got the 2 piece white. Best biscuit I’ve ever had. Fries were crunchy and battered. Chicken was moist, crunchy, and full of flavor. Willie’s knows what’s up. Granted I came here when it was empty for lunch so the service was wonderful.

After leaving a jazz club on Frenchmen Street, my boyfriend asked me what I wanted to eat. It was late, I was a little buzzed, and all I could think about was chicken tendies. He was in the middle of telling me how we likely weren't going to find chicken tendies at that hour, when we walked by Willie's Chicken Shack — and, as it says in the Bible, "it was so." We both ordered 3 piece meals... tendies, fries, and cornbread... and neither of us could resist the wall of daiquiris. The guy who took our order offered us samples, and even recommended mixing flavors. So, we settled on pina colada X mango, and neither of us was mad about it! Important detail: these slushies are largely Bacardi 151, so if you're not careful, you will turn into a slushy as well. Inside was a fun vibe, booths were a little sticky, but it felt appropriate. We also were treated to a flash-mob style brass band outside, which honestly made the experience even more memorable.

I'm a vegetarian but my girlfriends definitely are not. I was able to snack on the sides (Mac and cheese, fries, red beans and rice). They were decent for late night junk food. The chicken my friends got said that it was great! Hot, fresh, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. Service was quick and the artwork along the walls reminded me of spots in NYC. Highly recommend getting Willie's cocktail.

Friendly staff, varied food and drink options; dine in choices included bar tops and booths. Juicy, flavored chicken tenders, honey biscuit and fries. Refreshing boozy slushies. Enjoyed the impromptu Louisiana band outside the restaurant. The restaurant was clean and staff were prompt in clearing tables and sanitizing when each party left.

The Jambalaya was the bomb with heaps of fresh tender chicken inside wish they had a 3 meat version. The chef was also nice enough to recommend me some places to eat after I had the worst food of my life at a tourist trap earlier. Very friendly staff.
